“The Name is Rajinikanth” book released
The much awaited biography on Rajinikanth “The Name is Rajinikanth” was released in a colorful function at Taj Connemara yesterday. Veteran journalist & actor Cho Ramaswamy released the book and Rajini’s daughter Ms. Soundarya Rajinikanth received the book. The function was attended by many film personalities including AVM Saravanan, K.S.Ravikumar, K. Balachander & Sivakumar.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr.Cho said, contrary to the popular misconception, he does not advise Rajini on political matters. Although Rajini consults many on politics he is capable of making his own decisions. Urging Rajini to enter active politics, he said when he enters politics he can become an able administrator like Narendra Modi of Gujarat. Through his efficient administration he can turn Tamilnadu into another Gujarat, Mr. Cho said.

Who can forget this famous dialog of Tharumi form Thiruvilayadal: பாட்டெழுதி பெயர் வாங்கும் புலவர்கள் இருக்கிறார்கள். குற்றம் சொல்லியே பெயர் வாங்கும் புலவர்களும் இருக்கிறார்கள். இதில் நீங்கள் எந்த வகை என்று உங்களுக்கே தெரியும்.
Loosely translated in English, there are those who work hard to come up in life and there are others who made their fortunes in criticizing others. Mr.Cho belongs to the second category.
Cho is the one who always projects himself as Rajini’s adviser, by repeatedly saying he is not an adviser. He continues to seek publicity by associating himself with Rajni. Perhaps Rajini can be as good as Modi or may be even better. But why drag him into politics, when Rajini himself keeps saying that he is not interested in politics?
I have a feeling that Mr.Cho is using Rajini’s popularity to increase his own popularity. Lets hope Rajini recognizes such evil designs when he listens to his advice!!!!
Anarchist’s quote on thiruvilayaadal made me laugh out aloud. Interesting analysis. But I have to say that I disagree with your observation.
Mr.Cho is an eminent journalist who always calls a spade a spade. He never sided with any political party and he has always given his opinion with any fear or favour. When he says that Rajini can be another Modi than cannot be easily ignored.
I have a question to you anarchist: If you disagree with Cho’s view, are you saying that Rajini wont be a good administrator?

Godhra has nothing to do with Modi being a good administrator. If he was really behind Godhra, he should be hanged. There is no doubt about it. But just that doesnt make him a bad administrator.
Gujarat has been registering a very impressive 12% growth as against India’s 8%. There is only one person who is responsible for this and he is Modi.
I know he is a hindu fundamentalist and uses Anti-Islam sentiments to keep himself in power. I dont support any of his such qualities. But when it comes to economic reforms and able administration, he is outstanding.
