Sivaji Silver Jubilee Celebrations

In the other news, Rajini & Shankar’s silver jubilee celebration took place in Chennai. Tamilnadu Chief Minister Karunanidhi gave away the shields to the artists and technicians.

The CM praised Rajini’s hard work and conscientiousness. He further said he admired Rajini’s rise to great heights despite his humble beginnings.

Rajini confirmed the news about all his upcoming movies. Sultan the warrior, another movie for Kavithalaya and of cours, Robot. He hoped that Robot would be a bigger hit than Sivaji. Shankar said that since the movie is a big budget movie, he was planning to make it in Hindi so there will be a bigger audience to justify the cost of the movie. However for various reasons that did not not pan out well. Now the huge success of Sivaji gives me the confidence that it is possible to make such high budget movies in Tamil too, said Shankar.
