Rajini goes to Vietnam
Rajini is all set to fly to Vietnam. He is going there to participate in Sultan the Warrior film shoot. He is wrapping up Kuselan in Alapuzha, Kerala. Once that is complete he is likely to participate in another grueling schedule for Sultan. After that he is going to take a short break at Himalayas and will be back when Robot starts rolling in August.

How long it has been since Rajini did movies back to back? This guy gets bolder when he gets older.

Soundarya speaks…
Sultan, the Warrior is no ordinary film. This 40 cr project is sure to challenge hollywood productions - says Soundarya.

Here is what she has to say:
“This film is the result of my wish to see my father in a totally new dimension. First off, he didn’t accept it. Infact he was skeptical about the whole idea. I had to really convince him before he nodded yes to this project. I never had any sort of previliges in this case as his daughter.
This film would satisfy every single fan of the Super Star and in a way it would be India’s answer to the Hollywood’s Spider Man. I’ve been working on this project with my father’s image and his world-wide popularity in mind.
As a father too, he has impressed me a lot. Even at the times when he was working for about 11 films a year, when we were missing him a lot, he used managed himself some time for us and take us to places. Be it a a trip to the disney land or a visit to a local restaurant, we just cannot forget those moments of our life.
My dream is to do a film with both my father and Kamal together, but a long way to go.”

Sultan the warrior creates huge expectations
Rajini movies always generate lots of curiosity. Sultan the warrior is no exception. First, it is by far the most expensive animation movie made in India. Second, the movie is based on an actor. Third, it is masterminded by Soundarya Rajinikanth, daughter of Rajini. As if these reasons were not enough, the Robot movie announcement two weeks ago actually upped the ante.
This 40+ crores project of Soundarya Rajini is expected to hit theaters in 2008. The second theatrical trailer was released last week and needless to say that Rajini fans are excited to watch it.
Watch the trailer now:
3D movies produced in Hollywood such as Shrek, Cars, Robots, Monsters Inc etc have been hugely successful raking in hundreds and millions of dollars as revenues. In India also, with the right combination of creative minds and technical knowhow it is possible to create movies that capture our imagination. If Sultan turns out to be successful, we are sure that will be an important milestone for the Indian movie industry.
